    Physiologist Martin Gibala, PhD, a CSEP member, professor, and chair of the department of kinesiology at McMaster University spoke with Maclean's Magazine about the health benefits of short intense workouts.

    With everyone having busy schedules, it can be hard to find time for traditional endurance training. In the interview, Gibala highlights the benefits of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), from its impact on cardiorespiratory fitness, to helping one fulfill their "getting fit" new year's resolution.
